Everybody needs to get their start somewhere and Beyoncé got her start on Star Search. In this vintage video from 1996, you get to see Beyoncé as a 12-year-old girl singing with a group known as Girls Tyme. You can see that many of her signature moves have carried over since this time, although her music is quite different today!
Star search was a television show that was hosted by Ed McMahon and ran from 1983 to 1995. A number of notable competitors appeared on the show and launched their careers, including Justin Timberlake, Atlantis Morrissette and Britney Spears.
