As a baby born prematurely, weighing under a pound in weight, and to very troubled parents, Christopher Duffley didn’t get off to the best of starts in life. Blind and autistic, both quite probably due to having to be weaned off cocaine that had been transferred from his mum during pregnancy.
However Christopher is no ordinary child, he is a fighter and determined to conquer his challenges and achieve whatever he wants to in life. Music is a strong passion of his and his song of choice ” Lean On Me” is almost quite ironic when you consider how the very people he should have been able to lean on were the parents who let him down.
He is dressed in a very smart tuxedo and is performing the song with the Nashville World Outreach Church Kid’s Choir behind him. You can see the power and emotion he is putting into this song, he truly believes every word he sings and whilst every note might not be pitch perfect, I still think he does a marvellous job and puts on a quite amazing performance.
