This is spectacular! The King and Ol’ Blue Eyes singing together on this TV special… It was the 1960 and this is what music sounded like five decades ago. Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra are musical legends. Even though they were musical rivals, the two stars joined together for a television special, “Welcome Home Elvis,” in 1960 to celebrate Presley’s return from military service.
Even though this was filmed at Sinatra’s peak, Elvis seriously stole the show. I don’t know any other performer who ever could do that. Every time I watch this I am amazed at how good these guys were.
