Most people are amazed by the ease with which professional surfers are able to navigate the water. That wasn’t the experience that professional surfer Mick Fanning had at the recent World Surfing League competition. Rather than hanging 10, he found himself hanging on for his life as he fought off a shark that attacked him from behind.
Fortunately, the Australian surfer came off unscathed, although the board leash did receive a lethal injury. There are some tense moments and the entire event is caught in this video, unedited for your enjoyment. You may never go back in the water again!
