There are times when a chance meeting may make all of the difference in an individual’s life. That is what recently happened in Greenville County, when a police officer shine the spotlight on a homeless man who was walking down the road. The officer talk to the man and found out that he had had a difficult life. They then walk together to a nearby church and had quite a conversation.
According to Robert Morris, the homeless man, he had a tent that had washed away of the flood. After he lost his family, he became addicted to drugs and alcohol and that ruin his relationships with the rest of his family. Rather than looking down on him, the officer was inspired and started looking for a Bible that he can provide to him. He ended up giving him his personal Bible with she scribbled in over the years.
The officer didn’t stop at that point, he went and got him a plate of hot food and Roberts gladly accepted it. Some six months later, the officer received a voicemail from Robert that you will hear in the video below. Unfortunately, Robert has since passed away but he left this officer something he will never forget.
