Back in 2003, we were entertained by a rather unique film. It was ‘Elf’, starring Will Ferrell and many of us thought it was the funniest film to come our way in quite some time. In fact, since the time it was released, it has been shown every year in many locations when Christmas is getting near.
Although we may have watched Elf many times and laughed at it, it is amazing what can happen when some small changes are made to the trailer. By picking and choosing the right scenes, adding some ominous music in the background and setting a different tone, we suddenly see a comedy that we all love turned into a twisted and frightening thriller. This trailer adds that type of dimension to the film and you will be surprised with what they are able to do.
They sometimes say that perception is reality, and this video may just prove that fact. When you are able to take a comedy and twist it in a spoof trailer to make it a thriller, you begin to wonder what else is possible. One thing is certain, you will never look at Elf the same way again.
