I have a few friends who for various reasons are confined to a wheelchair. And virtually all of them tell me that the biggest frustration they face is the way people ignore them almost as if they don’t exist. I have been a witness to this on a number of occasions when people will ignore my friend and talk to me, even if it was my friend who asked the question. That is both ‎offensive and insulting, just because their legs don’t work, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with the rest of their body.
In this video which I plan to use now for inspiration, the male partner of the dance duo is confined to a wheelchair. Refusing to sit in the background, this guy wants to be the centre of attention, and why shouldn’t he be?
With his bright red sparkly costume and moves that I could only dream of attempting, this guy has positivity and determination shining out of him. If things are ever going wrong for you, watch this video and remind yourself that there is always someone worse off than you, but they don’t give up and quit, they use their problems as motivation to drive themselves forward, even harder. Watch this video and be inspired, then please share it with all your friends.
