From time to time, we are going to have our embarrassing moments, and they are just something that is unavoidable in life. For example, I was carrying eggs from the grocery store one time and I tripped in a busy parking lot. Before I knew it, the eggs were airborne and I was stuck there, just watching it all happen in front of me. Fortunately, only my pride was hurt, but when I see people doing silly things, it always makes me think of that moment.
That moment also came for a kayaker named Dallon Jones. Although he is skilled on a kayak, his abilities to get one into the water are lacking in some way or another. As he fell backward into the water, he lost it so much that he actually had to swim out to retrieve the kayak.
Moments like these happen to everyone at some time or another. Unlike the egg incident I experienced, Dallon did not get off so easy. The entire episode was caught on his GoPro camera and it is sure to tickle your funny bone with you see it. In fact, you may watch it twice thinking, “I’m glad it wasn’t me.”
