Lemar Wants a Back Scratch from Kids but Won’t Let Them Stop

Lemurs are rather unusual animals. In the animal kingdom, they are well-known for taking any charity that comes their way but then taking the goodwill of others and stretching it to the limit. It’s no wonder that they received such an iconic part in the movie, Madagascar. King Julian plays a wonderful part and you can see his personality shining through in this real Lemar in the video.

Although it is true that lemurs are closely related to monkeys, they don’t have the same personality of their easy-going cousins. To put it plainly, lemurs are takers and if you start giving, they are going to keep taking. It is easy to see this fact when you watch this video about a Lemar that just couldn’t get enough of a good back scratch.

If you look at this Lemar, you will notice that it has hands and arms that are quite capable of reaching back and scratching the spot on its own. Perhaps it is too lazy to do it or it may just like the fact that a human is taking care of the job for him.
