The Nanning Bear Farm in China was previously a place where the bears had their bile painfully extracted from them. The farm was turned by the Animals Asia into a refuge for 130 bears.
Smudge was a 4-month-old baby cub at the time, in desperate need of love, care, and freedom. The staff members treated Smudge like they were her real family and has since become quite the “real little princess.”
