The Great British Barbershop Boys – Evolution of Song

“The Great British Barbershop Boys” take us on an exciting musical journey, starting with “Ave Maria Gratia Plena,” then they remind us of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Queen, Nirvana, Nat King Cole and many others. Alan Hughes (tenor), Zac Booles (lead), Joe Knight (baritone) and Duncan Blackeby (bass) were originally members of the National Barbershop Youth Chorus but they decided to branch out and sing a few numbers as a quartet.

These boys are very talented and funny and I hope we’ll see other brilliant and hilarious videos like this. They appeared on BBC1 Television, Christmas fundraisers for the Roald Dahl Foundation and for the Salvation Army at the Royal Albert Hall and on a Sunday Night at the London Palladium.
