Nature, unlike maths is never definitive. There are simply no hard and fast rules, and just when you were certain that cats and dogs are mortal enemies, two of them will come along and be best friends. Perhaps they are the exception that proves this rule, which is exactly how I would describe the two participants in this next story.
A crow and a cat are certainly not two animals you would put together as a good basis for a long lasting friendship. I am not entirely sure which would attack the other, I figure it could go either way.
So when Wallace and Anne Collito, a couple who have been married for over 51 years, and total cat fanatics saw a kitten and a crow walking down the road towards them, they feared the worst. But after watching this weird couple for a few days they realised that they were the best of buddies. The crow had taken over motherly duties, collecting and bringing back food for the kitten, and their love and friendship was plain to see. Just because we wouldn’t put these two animals together normally, it doesn’t mean their friendship can’t work, and this one clearly does.
