A photographer may have any number of different subjects for his pictures, but when Mark Dumas was asked to take pictures of polar bears, he heard about one particular bear, named Agee. She was a female polar bear, but she was the 11th that had been born to her mother. The mother was to old to care for such a young cub, and since Mark trained animals for films, he thought that it would be possible to care for this animal. He never thought that he would fall head over heels for her.
The fact of the matter is, the attraction between these two runs in both directions. If somebody happens to take Mark’s attention away from Agee for even a moment, she gets a little bit temperamental about it. Something else that you will find interesting is the fact that the polar bear makes a rather unusual noise. She purrs like a kitten, only a lot louder.
These two individuals are best friends. Not only do they play together and swim together, they live together as well. He recognizes that polar bears can be dangerous but he never felt any sign of danger from his BFF.
