Everyone loves a sailor, but sometimes even the sailors need cheering up and that’s where this wonderful group comes in. They are called the Sea Chanters and were originally formed in 1956, as the official chorus of the Navy. The idea was to bring some cheer and fun to the sailors when they were away from their loved ones for long periods of time.
But believe me, when you hear them sing and watch them perform you won’t believe how truly amazing they are. These guys could easily appear on any of the modern day talent shows, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they walked it, they really are that good. This video showcases a whole medley of songs and I can assure you, you won’t be listening just once.
