Young Disabled Boy Kicked Off Of Plane After His First Vacation

We have seen airlines do some fairly underhanded things and in most cases, they don’t even seem to care, nor do they show any remorse. That is the case with American Airlines and they have once again shown themselves for what they really are. They removed a 12-year-old severely disabled boy from a flight after he was finished with his first vacation. In the end, they didn’t even seem to care about what took place.

Bryant Weasel has a condition known as Dravet Syndrome, which is a form of epilepsy that causes a person to have prolonged and frequent seizures. Bryant had a service dog that would help him to prepare for the next seizure and to get to a safe location. The dog weighed 110 pounds, and it is trained for his needs. The airline, however, did not want that “big dog” on their plane.

Not only did they argue that the dog was too large to travel, they even questioned if he was a legitimate service dog. Bryant was coming back from his first vacation in his life. They had gone to the beach. Although they checked with the airline in advance and were assured it would be fine, he was removed from the plane.
