When a child is born with a disability, the parents may struggle with it just as much as the youngster. They realise that they will struggle with the disability as they get older, and they may have some battles in front of them, including what they will go through in school, and their friendships and even in their relationships later in life. Although there may be some negative aspects to it, it does help to look to the positive as well.

The mother and daughter, along with their little dog, have proven that there is strength to be found when you persevere.
