Vet Hears Older Woman Screaming Outside The Grocery Then Sees Her Forced To The Ground

What would you do if you heard somebody screaming for help and when you looked over, it was an older woman being attacked in broad daylight by a purse snatcher? Many of us would immediately call for assistance from the authorities but when you are an ex-Navy veteran, you might be prone to take matters into your own hands. That is what happened when Kendrick Taylor saw it occurring outside of a grocery store and he didn’t hesitate.

When he heard the woman screaming and saw her being attacked by the thief, he ran over and stopped the situation immediately. The thief tried to get away on his bicycle but it didn’t take long before Kendrick was in pursuit on foot. He was able to catch up to the man, throw him to the ground and hold him there until the police arrived.

As it turns out, the suspect was already on probation and was charged with attempted robbery and battery on a person 65 years or older. Kendrick received the medal of merit from the Sheriff’s office due to his courageous action.
