As we move through our daily lives, we often expect things to unfold as they always do but at times, we may get quite a surprise. That happened to a mother recently to who had taken her 11 month old baby girl to shop at Walmart. It was there that her worst nightmare came true, when her baby girl suddenly stopped breathing. The entire event was caught on surveillance video and it shows her desperately trying to revive her young daughter.
Emergency services were called but there weren’t any staff members or shoppers nearby who could help the young girl. That is when a teenager, Abby Snodgrass, came running from the dressing room and pushed her way through the crowd. Upon reaching the baby, she immediately began performing CPR. Fortunately, she had learned how to do CPR in health class just a few months prior to this incident.
Due to the fast thinking and action on the part of this young teenager, the baby girl is doing just fine. She is a true hero, and one who took whatever action was necessary to save the day.
