The life of a firefighter can be quite interesting. When you show up for duty in the morning, you never quite know what you are going to run into during the day. Some days may be fairly routine but from time to time, you may have something amazing happen. That was what Mike Thawley experienced on one particular day.
Although the day may have started out normally, it wasn’t long before his life was changed forever, and he managed to change another life for the better. Mike found a sick puppy tied up outside in the rain. There was nobody nearby to claim her or to make sure she was safe, so Mike took it upon himself to take care of the matter. He cleaned her up and brought her to the animal shelter so she could get some medical care.
When the following day came around, Mike made a trip to the animal shelter to see how his new friend was doing. When the puppy saw him, she was overwhelmed with excitement. It seems as if these two have already formed a bond and we hope they have the bond for life.
