Most people in the UK are not familiar with Girl Scout Cookies but in the United States, they are all the rage. Every year, Girl Scouts begin selling boxes of cookies to raise money and they are considered by most people in the United States as being the best cookies available. They even have imitation Girl Scout Cookies at the grocery.
What would happen if you were to introduce someone that had never heard of Girl Scout cookies to the treat? Would they agree that they are the best thing ever? That is what happened on a chat show, when Gordon Ramsay was given some of the cookies to try. The chat show host (who had been eating the cookies for years) was excited over the prospect, but when Ramsay tried the cookies, it didn’t go as planned.
It seems that there are certainly cultural differences, especially from one area of the world to another. We see it often but it appears that these cookies are best kept within the states.
