From the time we are very young, we are able to do something that we will carry with us for the rest of our life. It doesn’t take any formal training and it doesn’t appear that it is anything we learn by example. It happens when the music starts playing and we just can’t help but move our body along with it. Some children are rather good at dancing but regardless of whether they are good or not, they will do it.
The little toddler that is in this video saw a girl who was dancing on the street. It was a traditional Irish step dance but when the little girl saw it, she couldn’t help but jump right in and dance along. Of course, she had a lot of her own moves but everyone who was looking on was absolutely enthralled by her abilities.
There is a lesson here for all of us. As adults, we often hold back from doing anything in public out of the fear that it may embarrass us. Young children, however, know the real secret of life. Do everything you possibly can and dance like it’s nobody’s business.
