A Controversial Super Bowl Advert That Crashed A Lumber Store Website

Sometimes what is most important when it comes to an advertisement is that it be controversial. In fact, it can really get people talking and move them to action. That became quite obvious to those who saw an advertisement for 84 lumber during the Super Bowl, the largest sporting event in the United States.

A Spanish-speaking mother and daughter were traveling from the area of Mexico into the United States. When they ended up at the border, they found a large door in the wall. This is controversial, because the president of the United States has claimed that he was going to build a wall between the two countries. As it turns out, part of it was banned from TV so they directed people to a website to see the rest. When people got there, however, they ended up with a surprise.

The server was so busy because of people coming to the website that it absolutely crashed. People couldn’t get through and they only saw a message that simply said “the service is unavailable.” Thankfully, we have YouTube to show us the rest.
