It doesn’t matter what you have been able to accomplish in life, there are going to be certain reasons why you are remembered by everyone around you. It is true for those of us who are considered “normal people” and it certainly is true for celebrities as well. The only thing you can hope for is that why you are remembered is something awesome.
Tom Hanks was recently reminded of how he would always be equated with Forest Gump when he was on a chat show. He was talking with Graham Norton and eventually, the subject came around to Forest Gump. Although there are many iconic lines out of the film, they began discussing how Forest could really run and it is funny how many times that scene comes up in conversation.
Eventually, Tom Hanks was asked to recite one of the lines from Forest Gump where he discusses running. When he does so, it is almost as if you can see the film in your mind because he absolutely does it perfectly. It seems as if being remembered for a scene out of that iconic film is not so bad after all.
