Rainworks – Rain-Activated Art

There is an old saying that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and many of us have experienced the truthfulness of that saying. In fact, we are able to see beauty in many different areas of life, and some people seek it out in everything that they do. That is especially true of those who love art and who have their own special way of making the world a beautiful place. Peregrine Church is one of those individuals.

Peregrine is a man who wants to make people smile when it is raining outside. He lives in Seattle, which is a considerably rainy area, so his art has the opportunity to display itself on a regular basis. In his Rainworks project, the art is water activated, so it only appears when it is wet. It is absolutely amazing to see, plus it is non-toxic and safe for the environment.

The Rainworks projects are biodegradable, so they only last for about four months or as long as a year, depending upon the conditions where they are included. It is a fantastic way for this man to bring a little beauty into the world, and those who are able to see it appreciate it.
