This Creature Totally Floors Scientists When It Morphs Into An Octopus

It doesn’t matter where you look in the world, it seems as if explorers have been there at some time in the past. They have climbed to the highest mountain and explored the deepest ravine but there is one place on earth that is left largely unexplored. I’m talking about the ocean, and you would be surprised with how little we really know about what is under the water.

There are many different creatures in the ocean that are more marvelous than most of us realise. That is true of this creature in the video, one that is known as an Indonesian mimic Octopus. It is sure to amaze you because it has the art of camouflage down to an absolute science. In fact, it can practically disappear from any predator by simply morphing itself into the environment. It is really unbelievable to see.

When this Octopus feels threatened, only two tentacles will be exposed after he pulls his body into a hole. To the predator, it looks like a poisonous sea snake. If necessary, it can also mimic the look of a poisonous fish as well. In either case, it keeps itself off of the menu.
