Many of us appreciate having an animal in the house. Not only can they provide companionship, they can also provide a little bit of comedic relief as well. Of course, when most of us think about animals, our minds typically go to a dog or a cat but in this household, there is something rather unusual in the room. It is the interaction between that animal and the family dog, however, that really has us laughing.
This family has Emee, a baby emu that is a part of their regular life. As they relax next to each other in the living room, the bird seems to be rather composed until the family dog shows up. When the dog does come around the corner, Emee gets very excited over it and even rolls over on the floor to show how happy she is that her companion is there.
The dog may also be happy that she is in the room, but he is more interested in being a little bit jealous over the fact that she is getting the attention. He quickly runs over to the owner so that he can be petted for some reassurance.
