A Huge Celtic Cross Is Growing In The Middle Of An Irish Forest

When you visit Ireland, you can expect to see a lot of beautiful sites. It seems as if everywhere you look, something beautiful is popping out at you and that is especially true when you do a flyover. Many individuals have done this in the past but more recently, anybody who has flown over this particular Irish forest has been given a special treat.

This is in the area of County Donegal and it is a 100 foot long Celtic cross that is hidden deep inside of the forest. It is not one that is made by human hands but rather, it is made by hundreds of trees that were carefully planted to form this particular shape. It has been there for quite some time but now, it is especially visible thanks to the autumn colours that are really making it stand out.

After some investigation, it was discovered that a forester, named Liam Emmery, was the man responsible for planning and planting the design. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2010 and he was rather private about his work, so his family was not familiar with much that he did. This particular creation, however, will be around for quite some time.
