Provided it is not a negative thing, I think most people like surprises. Especially when you are walking through a town centre maybe on a lunch break, or getting some boring chores done. If something comes along that is pleasant but unexpected it can certainly make your day, and change your mood.
That’s exactly what happens in this video but this is something almost unbelievable. Imagine the scene, you are walking across the town square and one drummer starts beating his drum. You might think nothing more of it, but as the number of drummers grows and grows, you might start to think this is something a little bit special that I am in the middle of.
The group in question are a marching band group called TSV Lauf and they have been performing for many years. They have become hugely popular, and their preferred style of music is American pop hits. As you watch the video you will see the audience grow and grow as the whole performance gets louder, and word starts to spread. I have always wondered what exactly it would be like to be in the middle of all this organised music, with the rhythm of the drums booming through you. It certainly looks like amazing fun.
