Out of all of the late night chat show skits we have seen over the years, it is difficult to beat what carpool karaoke brings to the table. It is the brainchild of James Corden and it involves him driving superstar performers around town while they sing together to songs on the radio.
Carpool karaoke has been going on for quite some time but it looks like they are ending 2016 on the highest note of all. He is driving Mariah Carey around town, and it looks as if they filled the back seat with Christmas gifts and they have a tree on top of the car. When James asks her what she wants for Christmas, she won’t say at first but then she asks for him to sing her Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
Not only does James fill her wish, he has been preparing for it all year. His guests from 2016, including Lady GaGa, Elton John and Adele, all come together to sing the song in style. This show just keeps getting better.
