For some children the school dinner is their only properly cooked meal of the day. The school and government have a responsibility to provide nutritious tasty meals, but unfortunately that isn’t the memories most of us have of school dinners.
This school in Japan is something magical. The children grow their own fruit and vegetables and are taught from an early age the benefits of eating healthily, how to prepare food and to enjoy the process. When you look at how well they do it and how much the children enjoy the process it makes you wonder why other countries can’t achieve this.
