One of the more difficult things that a parent may have to face is having a sick child. Many of us can attest to the fact that having a child with the sniffles or dealing with the flu can lead to quite a few sleepless nights. At times, however, children can get seriously ill and when that happens, it affects everyone in the family. That was the case with this young girl, who was born with a congenital heart defect.
Her name is Macy Wright, and the heart issues that she was facing began at birth. When she was 14 years old, she started to decline and began to show signs of heart failure. They knew that she was in desperate need of a transplant but they can be few and far between.
One day, her mother got a call from the hospital and it was possible that they had a transplant for the young girl. Rather than just telling her, she pulled out her camera and began taking a video. Thankfully, we get to see the awesome reaction of both the mother and the daughter as they get some of the best news they are probably having in quite some time.
