Many of us love the privilege of being able to drive but if we have been on the road for a number of years, we may have had our run-in with the law. It’s not that we are doing something intentionally wrong, we just sometimes get caught going too fast or perhaps running a light and end up with a traffic ticket. That was the case with this 71 year old woman, who got a traffic ticket for running a red light.
This woman had been driving for many years and she made a simple mistake, she ran a red light. Other than that, she has no prior traffic tickets or anything that would tarnish her record. She was caught on camera, however, and it was obvious that she had done something wrong.
As she talked to the judge through tears, she explained how she was on her way to the hospital to see her husband who had undergone surgery. Most people would think that this was just an excuse but the judge knew exactly what he had to do.
