Many of us are nervous over the possibility of having to go to court and stand in front of a judge. Typically, it is for good reason, because we are up against the law and not all judges are willing to be reasonable when they are talking to us. That isn’t always the case, however, and you are about to see a judge who has a kind heart.
This involves Judge Frank Caprio, and he is willing to look into the circumstances before he makes a ruling. A mother showed up in court along with her two daughters because she did not pay a $100 parking ticket and the associated fines. She tried defending her choice to park on the sidewalk but he seems to be more interested in her six-year-old daughter.
He calls the young girl up to the bench and asks her for some help in deciding what to charge the mother. That is when the girl tells him that she had not eaten all morning and the judge knew exactly what he had to do.
