12 Hours After The Horrors Of Brussels Adele Pays A Tribute

The beauty of being a live pop superstar is that you can react to events instantly, and show your respect and love. You are also in a position, should you so wish to make a comment about something in the news.

Yesterday after the terrible tragedies in Brussels, pop queen Adele was playing the last of her six nights at the O2 London. She took the opportunity to express her sorrow about the events that had taken place only twelve hours earlier. She introduced her song by saying “This is Make You Feel My Love and this is for Brussels,”. The crowd reacted extremely positively and all sang along with her.

Upon finishing the song Adele was visibly moved by their reaction and she said she “had never been so moved in my life at one of my shows. Thank you very much for doing that.” Adele may be a great singer, she certainly writes amazing songs, but she also is really special human being. She still gets life she has not become all swept up in the superstar lifestyle, cosseted from real people and real life. In virtually every show she performs she does something that little bit special that makes us love her even more.
