Touching Moment When Brother Sings To His Disabled Brother In The Local Bar

Music has a way of transcending problems, or relaxing people, changing their mood and perspective, or simply bringing people closer together. I have heard numerous stories of people in a coma where when their favourite band or artist is played to then, they show some form of reaction, when previously there was nothing.

If the right song is chosen it can deliver so much inspiration to the recipient, and again the words can be extra special both in meaning and ‎in emotion. In 2012, Declan Mcmullan suffered a cardiac arrest as a direct result of suffering from a heart condition called Wollf-Parkinson-White. Only 19 years of age at the time he spent 65 weeks in hospital and unfortunately as a result he suffered some brain damage. This has caused him severe challenges such as not being able to eat or speak and being confined to a wheelchair permanently.

However, all is not bad for Declan ‎as he has an amazing family behind him. In the heart-wrenching clip below we get to see his brother Mark Mcmullan perform the song, “Bring him home” from the musical “Le Miserable”. This happened in public at a local bar, showing the world how proud Mark was of his brother.Declan thoroughly enjoys the magical moment and is still positive and full of laughter despite his problems. Watch the video below to see truly inspiring brotherly love.
