One of the more difficult jobs is to be a repo man. You may get called by banks or car dealerships to go out and repossess automobiles when somebody doesn’t pay the bills. Although you may get somewhat accustomed to it, it can even put you in harm’s way at times. That is the case with Jim Ford, who is a repo man and says he has been shot at, run over and almost anything else you can imagine.
On this particular night, he was called out to repossess the car from an elderly couple. He admits that it was not easy taking their car away because his grandparents were gone and he could see a lot of them in this older couple. He also knew why they were having financial problems because of the cost of medication and other difficulties.
After hooking the car up and towing it away, he made it about one block before he pulled over and called the bank. He offered to pay the car current then set up a GoFund Me account and raised the majority of the money within eight hours. The elderly couple ended up getting the car back and for them, it was like hitting the lottery.
