When we first land a job, we want to make sure that we do everything right. There is typically a time where we are considered under probation and during that time, they have the ability to fire us if we don’t live up to their expectations. That time usually lasts anywhere from one to three months but it certainly is in place when we are hired and haven’t started yet.
This video shows one of the most unusual situations as far as firing is concerned and it really shows you the reason why you should be careful. It involves a 27 year old single mum who was hired by a daycare. She went online to post to Facebook about her new job but she didn’t use any common sense when doing so. After all, you don’t post about hating working at daycares when you just got hired by one.
She ended up getting a lot of backlash on Facebook and then on top of it, she lost her job before she even started. Somehow I’m not surprised.
