There are many people who like to protest and at times, they don’t even need a legitimate reason to do so. One group of protesters, however, managed to break a court injunction and protested on a farmers land. They were protesting against fracking, and included in the mix was Emma Thompson, an Oscar-winning actress.
Apparently, the protesters had climbed over a gate and set up shop on the land. The farmer saw them and he decided to take the matter into his own hand. Rather than contacting the police, he hooked up his tractor and started spraying manure around their location. The protesters were screaming for him to stop but he just kept spraying for a few circles before driving off.
It seems that fracking is a hot spot for many people, and these members of Greenpeace were trying to get their point across. They managed to break the law in the process and when the manure showed up, they got more than they expected.
