The Border Collie is an intelligent and smart dog that mainly herds sheep. These dogs are also very energetic, athletic and acrobatic. They can also herd cattle, free range poultry, pigs, or ostriches and follow directions by whistle or voice. They are used to get rid of unwanted wild birds from golf courses and airport runways.
