When we are very young, we don’t really have the opportunity to pick and choose what we eat. In many cases, we are going to try what is put in front of us and at times, we will love it but at other times, we may not like it at all. That is what this little baby was experiencing, and she tried something that just didn’t sit well with her.
There are two types of people in this world, those who like broccoli and those who don’t. Stereotypically, babies are not going to like the taste of broccoli and it does take some getting used to. Baby Hazel does give it a shot, however, but the look on her face tells you immediately that it is perhaps one of the worst things that she has ever tried. She may have a limited palette, but she is letting her parents know that she doesn’t like it.
At times, children are going to have to eat what is put in front of them and when that is the case, they have the opportunity to try new things. I’m not sure if baby Hazel is going to have to try broccoli again or not, but at least she gave it a shot.
