Like so many things in life, the Irish seem to have cracked it when it comes to hard-hitting videos. They don’t seem to worry about offending or scaring anyone, and really go for the jugular in an attempt to cut their road traffic deaths. It may well be that in Ireland there are quite a lot of road traffic related deaths, due to the small country lanes, but either way, the message applies worldwide.
Before you watch this one I think it’s fair to warn you that this is hardcore. They mean to get their message across in any way they possibly can, and they make no apologies for it. The target they are aiming for in this campaign is speed.
As we all know speed might give us a huge thrill, but is extremely dangerous. Please watch this video carefully and if you have any new drivers in the family, ask them to watch it. Newly qualified drivers are significantly more likely to be involved in an accident than older more experienced drivers, and a lot of the time that’s to do with speed, bravado or simply showing off.
