When it comes to Christmas, there are certain things that are always going to come to mind. For some of us, it will be all about gift giving or perhaps getting together with family and friends. For others, it might be the nostalgia of the day and every memory they have accumulated through the years. Through it all, however, Christmas will always be about the children and there is nothing quite like watching them light up with the day arrives.
At this church, little children were given the task of explaining Christmas and telling the story. When they did so, they did more than simply tell a tale. They got adults to act out the scenes from what they were saying and when they were finished, they had put together perhaps the best thing you are going to see this year. In fact, it might just define Christmas for you from this point forward.
When we are adults, we often have something in our mind and we don’t often step outside of those boundaries. Sometimes it may taint our ideas and we don’t quite look at things the way we did when we were younger. Taking a look at them through the eyes of kids helps us to ground ourselves and have the perspective we need.
