When you are riding on the tube, you never know what you’re going to end up seeing and at times, you might see something that was totally unexpected. That was obviously the case for these riders, who saw an attractive young woman remove her clothes and begin talking to everyone that was nearby. She did it for a very special reason and it is one that can teach us all a lesson.
Her name is Iskra Lawrence and this is part of a movement that is known as Unmuted. This series, which can be found on YouTube, causes individuals to have unspoken conversations that they may hold with themselves on the inside and brings them to the outside. It allows people to learn something about the person who is doing the talking and it also teaches them something about themselves in the process.
In this particular clip, she is removing her clothes in order to protest something that is known as “body shaming.” It’s something that far too many people have to deal with on a daily basis and at times, it can become a type of bullying that will affect them negatively throughout their life.
