Many of us take any opportunity we can to get out and ride on a nice day. We may even plan the ride weeks or months in advance. After all, we all lead busy lives and sometimes we have to fit in the things that are important to us. It gives us a sense of purpose and, from time to time, it will also give us a surprise or two.
When Dan Barkalow, Bog Grigs and Ryan Bailey were out riding their motorcycles for the day they saw another biker along the side of the road. They did what many die-hard bikers would do, they stopped to give him a hand. As it turns out, this wasn’t just any biker stuck along side of the road, it was Bruce Springsteen!
Barkalow didn’t know it was Springsteen but when he stopped to help, he recognised the singer. Springsteen didn’t make a big deal out of it, he just shrugged his shoulders. The four of them went to have drinks at a bar and they got to hang out with a legend.
