Many of us have an appreciation for art and regardless of whether we are able to do it ourselves or not, we certainly love seeing when other people are doing it. It doesn’t matter if they are drawing with a pencil and paper, paint or if they are doing it electronically, the fact that they are able to see something that doesn’t yet exist is absolutely amazing.
The illustrator that created this video is known as Stonehouse, and he is able to create something that takes us from birth to old age in just a matter of a few minutes. The fine art techniques that he uses are blended with a digital illustration program to provide a way to bring these things to life. Quite simply, it is something that needs to be seen to be believed.
Some people have considered this man’s artform to be a type of speed painting but it is actually closer to motion capture. When you see the fine attention to detail that he provides as he takes us from year-to-year throughout this woman’s life, it is absolutely amazing.
